Lotekno EP #1 was forged in the stink and smog of the eternal traffic jam that winds around Tangkuban Perahu, the sacred volcano.

Lotekno - a project of musicians and artists dotted around the world - starts out with a blistering bamboo suling solo from Dimas Firmansya. Complementing this traditional Indonesian instrument is a rich bassline and a gamelan-inspired chord progression, intricately woven from Sundanese flavours by Anomie. Detroit-style drum-machine programming by Ruffles, further refined through Marrickville warehouse party sound, gives this single its final unique touch.
